A Conscious Lifestyle

Living from the inside out means embracing a Conscious Lifestyle.
Have you ever noticed how you get impulses to do things? It happens when you let your mind rest and sink into your body. After a while, if you allow yourself to rest there long enough, you can feel an impulse. Acting on that impulse is to live from your intuition.
Is that even possible? To live from your intuition?
It is, for sure. We all have that inner pull and impulse; it's easy to ignore it and pretend it's not there. But deep down, you feel it. You might even pause right now, focus on your breath, move your attention to your body, and notice what you're feeling in different parts of your body. Focus on your heart for a little while, and rest here. Stay with it until you feel an impulse. Do you notice that there is an impulse? What does it say? What happens if you act on it?
A Conscious Lifestyle means making a conscious choice to listen inside as much as possible. Living in alignment with that inner voice, your inner leader, means living wholeheartedly with an aligned mind, heart, and gut. It feels like an open heart, a warm feeling spreading through your whole chest and filling your entire body. It's like clearing your mind and opening your entire being to love and the feeling of connection.
Imagine what your life would feel like if you lived in a state of inner alignment all the time. Wouldn't it be amazing?
I believe that the unwritten script most of us live by has taught us to stop listening to that inner voice. And that's what is causing emptiness and a feeling of disconnect.
The opposite asks us to trust ourselves fully and act on our impulses as if we knew it was the right thing to do. Even when there is no way of knowing and the decisions are hard to make. If there is an inner alignment, it is the right thing for you. Not everyone else. It's not to say that you shouldn't think of the people around you, but it's like putting on your own oxygen mask first. When you can breathe, you can be there for others. That is a requirement.
And the question is, if you don't listen to yourself, do you really know who you are? If you live your life on everyone else's terms?
Who are you when you listen to yourself first? Who are you when you act on your intuition? Who are you when you connect with your fire and energy? Have you experienced fully the truth of your being?
Who are you?
Do any of us know at any point who we really are? I don't know, but I am sure that we will never know if we keep living on everyone else's terms.
Taking leadership of your own life is to choose a conscious lifestyle because how can you know what you want if you don't listen inwards? It is a premise that you listen. Act on your inner leader's voice and trust yourself.
The strength of this voice comes from the inner alignment of mind, heart and gut. It's like you can observe yourself while listening for the impulse. It's beautiful to allow yourself to be in this experience. When you do, it touches your soul and makes you feel happy and fulfilled. It gives you a strong feeling of connection.
This, I believe, is what you are searching for, and now you have found it. At least the tools that can help you get there.
Before you proceed, I want to warn you. This path requires courage; it asks you to face both the beautiful and challenging aspects of growth. Entering this path means embracing it all. The good, the bad, the ugly. It might mean that you need to make some difficult choices, and it might mean that you will do some serious retrospection and inner work. It might mean that you start carving out a new path and creating from your intuitive self. It will have an impact, and you will grow. You might even extend your soul-tribe and expand your relationships. And as a result, you will be more impactful in everything you do.
My contribution offers my perspective. It will only be a small part of your whole picture. Some of it you will find helpful, some of it not so much. It's all good. That's how it's supposed to be because we're all different and beautifully unique.
This alignment of your inner voice and being is the foundation of conscious leadership. And, as you are becoming a conscious leader, let me share with you my perspective of what it means to step into the role of The Conscious Leader in my next blog post...
